Kinda wondering if Debian 12 might be a fix for Glenn's sound issue in another thread?
Alas, I really have no clue what the Debian team changed. I'm going to assume (probably foolishly) something in the touchscreen driver was adjusted to deal with rotating input device. But I can't be sure. I have mentioned in the past, with the Microsoft Surface, the touchscreen input rotated properly. So maybe whatever was in there got migrated to whatever driver the Dell's touchscreen uses.
I really don't have the patience or time to diff things between bookworm and bullseye to figure out what changed.I just did an in-place upgrade (dist-upgrade), so it wasn't even a full reinstall. Debian is just great about that.
As to Glenn, I think he's running Debian bleeding edge (testing or unstable), so... Not sure. It really should work. I would LOVE to get my hands on the laptop and fiddle with it myself.
